Lisa Brown is a Calgary-based professional speaker, author, and coach specializing in performance enhancement. She holds a B.A. (Honours) and an M.A. in English from the University of Calgary. For 14 years Lisa’s training has been the most sought after business writing skills program in Alberta and a crown jewel of the University of Calgary’s Management Development Program. Lisa is a veteran of more than 700 writing skills presentations and has coached more than 2,000 people to writing skills excellence. Her client list includes corporations such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Gibsons Energy, NewAlta, and Nova Chemicals.

Julie Vouri, BSc, MBA, has spent nearly two decades teaching effective
writing skills. Julie has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in technical
communication and has taught Professional and Technical Communication
for the University of Calgary since 2003. An expert in delivering business
writing workshops and coaching people one-on-one, Julie is also an
accomplished technical writer for firms such as Canadian Natural
Resources and Exterran.
Margaret Hadley, MA, has been instructing Write On: Writing Skills for Business with Lisa Brown for over 10 years. She has been invited back to teach this course in-house for companies such as Trimac, Gibson Energy, Meyer Norris Penny, and Price-Waterhouse-Cooper. Margaret also teaches Business Grammar Workouts, Writing Reports and Proposals for the University of Calgary’s Business Seminars and Management Certificates programs.
